Finally catching up with our vacation pictures, here's our last trip before we moved...we went with friends to Tybee Island off the coast of Savannah, Georgia in the middle of May (yes, it has taken me three months to get this pictures posted!). It was beautiful and we had a blast! It was a little windy the first evening we were there which is why Sully is giving me this funny look...he wanted me to pick him up to protect him from the sand being blown by the wind. It kind of hurt our legs!
But the wind did not deter our little water babies, Nathan and Riley!
Riley, of course, got soaked! Luckily we were just half a block from our condo!
Sully spent most of this week playing in the sand...he takes after his mommy and prefers land.
Riley, on the other hand, spent most of his time in the water with his daddy!
We found a little tide pool our first day at the beach...it was nice and warm and shallow. Riley enjoyed running as fast as he could and jumping in!
Sully tried to copy his big brother...it was more of a little hop instead of a jump.
Cody got quite a workout running Riley and Sully up and down the tide pool on the boogie board!
Sully was cute pulling Nathan all by himself!
Riley liked to feed daddy snacks...I kept telling him not to feed the sharks!
Sully took his sand castle building very seriously.
Actually, all three boys took it pretty seriously...
Until it was time to crush it!
We took the kids to a wildlife preserve..the mosquitos were really bad and although we were all doused in Off, I got eaten alive!
We found the best BBQ joint in Savannah...and potentially ever! Riley is always weary of new foods but was totally diggin' the ribs!
The boys enjoyed catching some fishies...
and flying kites!
The favorite activities of all the boys (big AND small) was hole digging.
I got Riley and Sully the cutest mini blow up kayak...unfortunately, Sully was scared and wouldn't get in. But Riley made out in the deal not having to share with his little brother!
Sully and Nathan were more interested in the sea life...
We found a ton of hermit crabs all over the beach.
And after getting all tuckered out riding the waves...
The boys enjoyed taking a little rest!
Who doesn't love a pizza party on the beach!
What is that on Riley's left leg? A tattoo sleeve??? Oh yeah, baby -- I bought it for Cody as a joke but Riley loved it and wouldn't take it off until he got in the water!

All I can say is with that energy level, he definitely takes after his daddy!
Sully, on the other hand, is our little cuddle bug.
He wanted so badly to be just like his big brother...
The only problem is, he doesn't really like the water that much!
Riley was getting pretty good on the boogie board throughout the week!
Sully just wanted to be held...
And play in the sand with his toys!
It was a great trip with great friends!
Riley's first day of kindergarten is this Wednesday!!! So check back later on this week for "first day of school" pictures!
