Catching up with pictures from September, we took the boys to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo with our friend, Tobey. First stop was to feed the giraffes!
The boys loved it...and it seems like the giraffes did too! They came right up to us for some lettuce which was exciting for the boys. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is on the side of a mountain and there are a TON of hills. So the wagon with the canopy came in VERY handy for the day!
The boys wanted to check out the kayak displayed...
And who comes strutting by while they're in the kayak? Mr Peacock!
The playground was a big hit with the boys...surprise, surprise!
The Komodo Dragon was HUGE and scary looking!
The hippo was recovering from an illness so she was inside...the boys liked the hippo second best after the giraffes!
A fun day filled with animals, beautiful weather and friends!
